Although new on the home decor scene, Miinu is already making its mark with the bright multi colored rugs of its kick-off series – the Industrial Collection. Each a masterpiece of traditional Turkish craftsmanship, these modern rugs feature a patchwork of used carpets, at least 50 years old and some threadbare, artfully stitched together to form vibrant new designs and give new life to something old. These multi-colored motifs have an aged character with an eclectic, “collected” or antique-style aesthetic. The “Union Jack” and “All Nations” mix it up, while the others boast a monochromatic palette of different shades, tones and patterns with names like “Blazing Orange,” “Green Flash” and “Hot Pink.” These bright rugs are “hot” indeed!
