We can’t stop looking at the images of this beautiful loft interiors – a design by Edmonds & Lee Architects in San Francisco. They undertook the task of renovating the Oriental Warehouse Loft Building and aimed for “open , transparent relationships” throughout. This loft is equipped with humongous floor to ceiling windows that stretch over both levels – how’s that for open and transparent? The amazing exposed concrete wall and the weathered timber ceilings, beams and columns belong to the original space. New oak wood floors were added, a steel staircase and lots of glass – which are all such wonderful materials to contrast the old wood and concrete. The globe-like oversized pendants are a really nice touch, and can be appreciated on both levels. Do take an extra moment to really appreciate the bathroom design – it’s just great.
