Guadalajara-based Agraz Architects designed this Mexican modern architecture with a most interesting house facade to make a lasting impression from every angle. This concrete house, occupying a corner lot, offers a unique face for every direction, enhancing the street view as much as its benefitting its own design. The concrete walls lend the house a certain mystique, with their monolithic, towering presence. But inside, this home is livable, warm and welcoming, divided in three equal strips: the first being a garden patio and outdoor entertaining area open to the kitchen, living and dining area; the second, occupied by a central staircase that becomes the home’s main axis leading from the basement up to the second floor; and third, a studio, bathroom and main foyer.
