Luxury is something anyone can easily spot. Rich textures, sophisticated hues, and polished wood are just a few lux elements that make this West Hollywood residence so exuberant. With an area of 7,500 sq. ft. (696.77 m²) it sprawls around three levels and houses 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
Developer Evan Gaskin completed the project last year on a 25,250 sq. ft. (2,345.78 m²) lot full of green landscapes and modern L.A. architecture.
Fitting perfectly with the spot the house is described as a ‘trophy home’ with automated glass pocket doors that stretch from floor to ceiling and a cantilevered infinity pool prompting the said aesthetic. A big two-level stone deck wraps around the structure to provide room for outdoor spaces like a dining area and a seating zone with its own real green lawn.
The interiors have a strong visual connection with the green hilly landscapes thanks to wall-sized windows, huge transoms and glass railings – all of which create an indoor/outdoor atmosphere in almost every room.
Contemporary style, of course, reigns throughout the residence interiors. Stone and wood clad the walls in multiple seating areas while glass fireplaces add warmth in both physical and visual sense. Lots of reflective surfaces further promote the light and airy indoor/outdoor atmosphere.
Both contemporary art and ambient lighting create a character in each room whereas clever planning preserves an open layout all the while giving each zone some level of privacy.
Aside from outdoor entertainment the house boasts a home bar, a wine storage room, and a media area separated from the living and dining room. The house’s crowning jewel, though, is a bathroom balcony with a freestanding tub overlooking hills of West Hollywood. (Photography by David Blank)
