This outdoor dining terrace features a console table for 15 people. But clearly, the size is not the jaw-dropping element here. The table has no legs! By Kerimov Prishin Architects, the open air pergola structure was designed for a home in Moscow. How do they do that, you might be wondering? The table is a metal skeleton that has been sheathed in wood. It’s fixed at one end into a pedestal, which is part of a concrete foundation. Doesn’t it look like it’s floating on air? The length of the table defies logic – how can it be so level and secure? And we love the light fixture they’ve chosen – it works perfectly with the floating table. Won’t you join us for a cup of tea?
