A furniture project by Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen, First Rocking Chair is a sling back chair that rocks in beautiful autumnal colors of Yellow Ochre and Burnt Sienna. As comfy as this chair is, its also an amazing combo aesthetic of industrial meets beach cottage and it would look just as awesome in a loft as it would in a beach side cabin.
Version two of the First Rocking Chair takes the Burnt Sienna off of the tube framing and replaces it with a bright Emerald Green, using the Burnt Sienna on the sling back upholstery instead. This color combo is less industrial meets beach cottage and more country chic with its earthy and grassy shades. Wouldn’t you just love to see a pair of these on a wrap around porch filled with glazed pottery spilling forth bold summer blossoms or herbs?
