This cool cabin design by Norway architect Tommie Wilhelmsen is a treasure tucked away on an island. Overlooking the sea, this timber cabin features a dynamic exterior design and interiors that open to the outdoors through folding glass walls. Wrapping around, a dark-stained sunken wood deck – a fab outdoor entertaining area! – and outdoor walkway encircles the cabin and curves its way up to the roof, while the honey-colored wood clad facade recedes beneath the shelter of the dark. Inside the wood clad cabin, concrete walls give it a cool edge, which is warmed up with wood floors and ceilings, and sun-lit interiors. Tommie Wilhelmsen
