Korea architecture firm UOSarchitects designed this mountain house for a family with small children and big expectations. This all-season Korean house design was built for full access during the summer months, while only the southern wing is used in the winter for its inherently warmer temperature, thus housing the living room, dining room and kitchen. Careful consideration also went into the mountain views to the east, and the garden. The mountain house plan frames the breathtaking views, rivaled only by the striking interiors flooded with natural light revealing an open concept interior made for socializing. In the basement level, the master bedroom and bath, library and a den offer some privacy for the parents, while a roof top loft boasts a children’s playroom. UOSarchitects
