Born from blown and frosted glass, this melding of East and West creates a magnificent sculpture of light. The shapes and textures are so light that they are almost ephemeral. Designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba work and live in Milan – arguably the design capital of the world. They took inspiration from the rice paper lamps of the Orient, and translated the lightness of “washi” paper into glass. The table collection is available in three diffuser shapes — all made from hand blown glass. From Foscarini, one of the premier Italian houses, these lamps are made of the truly finest materials and under the finest craftsman’s watch. Master Murano glass makers create these lamps, one by one. The metal feet contrast, and emphasize, the lightness of the glass. The Ritual Collection of table lamps is also available as a pendant.
