There’s something about cowhide and there’s definitely something about this Hirche cowhide lounge chair that’s attractive and appealing and that we just have to share. This lounge chair was originally designed by Herbert Hirche in 1953, but it was never put into production until 2000 by Richard Lampert. Originally designed as a leather chair, now it is available in all sort of materials and the one we loved most … cowhide. Cowhide is cozy, soft and warm yet quite tough and rugged at the same time. The pattern and texture of it is always interesting and able to enhance any interior scheme. With regards to this modern chair, we feel the cowhide provides a striking contrast to the shape and unique metal frame of the lounge. Details at Richard Lampert.
