There isn’t a romantic anywhere in the world who won’t fall in love with the Angel chair. Designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac has outdone himself this time with his “Ange” (French for “Angel”). He’s restyled Fernob’s renowned “1900” Paris bistro line into a sentiment, a moment, a poem in steel. Two angel profiles, one male, one female, face inward to form the chair’s back. The wings are the arms. And when there is no one sitting in it, what an incredible shadow those two winged profiles cast (see photo below). The chair is encased with very high protection treatment for outdoors and UV protected against the sun. The seat’s stencil cut words (in French) will live through eternity: Nez a Nez (nose to nose), Face a Face (face to face), Bouche a Bouche (mouth to mouth), Coeur a Coeur (heart to heart). What a romantic piece of furniture. Can’t you just imagine a pair of them in your outdoor space?
The chair casts an amazing shadow!
Timeless words – the cut outs also serve as drainage, in case of rain.
The kissing cherubs chair is also available in robin egg blue.
