Designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, this gorgeous luxury summer house on the island of Mallorca, Spain manages to stand out, in spire of its awe-inspiring backdrop. Inspired by its rocky surroundings, this summer house rises 26 meters above sea level in jagged white shards, its fragmented volumes extending across the hillside and overlooking the seaside. Three main structures are connected by pathways, leading you through the home’s various volumes that function as a main entrance, a bedroom and living area, and staff quarters. Windows overlook the Mediterranean Sea to one side, and the interior courtyard on the other, providing a connection to the outdoors even when you’re inside. Luxury terraces and a rooftop garden with a pool offer the most amazing views of all. Alvaro Siza
