These outdoor spaces are providing us with some Mediterranean patio ideas, all white with wood accents and pops of color. They feel natural and fresh and happy – a great group of characteristics for any patio space. The white canvas serves as a perfect backdrop to keep things calm and reflect the light and heat away (typical design strategy for the Mediterranean area). The raw wood perfectly reminds us of where we are – outside, with nature. All the while, the pops of color (in this case via fabric and textiles, but I’m thinking my strawberry margarita would work well too!) provide a nice lively contrast.
