Check out this amazing mid-century bungalow renovation by SHED. Limits like a tight budget and construction schedule didn’t stop this bungalow from becoming super awesome. The major wish of the owners was an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Therefore, all non-bearing partition walls were knocked out. Additionally, they decided to cut out parts of the long central bearing wall. This adds to the feeling of openness but still maintains privacy since they filled these spaces with lovely casework. The interior design is also noteworthy. The wood chosen throughout the house has a rich, warm color and is definitely one of the most beautiful features of the design. The decor colors chosen complement the wood, intensifying its warmth to the max. The oranges and reds almost seem to come right out of the wood. In the bedrooms and bathrooms they have more fun with colors, introducing bright green and deep yellow to the mix via cabinet doors. The colorful striped bed dressing is a nice touch too.The old interior of this mid-century bungalow home was renovated into modern and stylish, yet cozy and casual at the same time. We love it.
