This amazing painted metal staircase is a bold cyan. And we love it. Part of the S House, by Romo Arquitectos of Lima Peru, it’s a statement staircase. We love the curves. And how it is the one spot of bright color in this modern home. It really stands out and has presence. It winds and twists up the center of the house – the core of the building. And it’s such a contrast, you can even see it clearly from the exterior. The architects say that wanted to use the stairs to contrast the rest of the house and they certainly did that. The only other color that competes is the sky!
