Zeno Nugari designed the Escapade Sofa as a low based mattress style lounger that just happens to have removable slip covers and super soft back cushions. The back cushions can be placed freely on the sofa in any location due to their weighted bottom section – but they can also be removed for when you prefer to lay back and have a nap and while this makes the Escapade not only super functional and comfortable but it is also sleek and modern making it the perfect choice to pair with other contemporary pieces such as the Flying Flower cocktail table by Sacha Lakic and the Arloso Lounge Chair designed by Zeno Nugari as seen here.
The Escapade Sofa comes in both indoor and outdoor versions with fabrics specifically designed for both. I’m really lovin the flower power look of the one on this deck.
The indoor version of the Escapade Sofa is upholstered in Carioca fabric and the back cushions are full of feathers. The back cushions have a bottom panel that is weighted so that the cushions can be placed on any angle and in any location you want.
The outdoor version of the Escapade is upholstered in an exclusive Missoni Home for Roche Bobois with Papavero fabric and plain fabric. This combination of solid colours on each cushion pulled from their Papavero fabric is awesome.
When its time to lie back and enjoy the sun, simply remove a pillow or two and shift the third to the end, or remove all three.
The Escapade large base is 240Lx37/76Hx120Dcm or 94.5Lx14.5/30Hx47D inches and since the sofa is entirely covered in removable slipcovers it is easy to keep clean.
Sensible, functional and packed with punch, the Escapade is a sleek and modern sofa that will jazz up any home both indoors and out.
