Bringing nature to an urban setting, this luxurious swimming pool house in Argentina designed by Andres Remy Arquitectos brings some much needed serenity to this busy city.
With large buildings flanking either side of this property, the main concern was a sense of isolation and obstructed view. The architects therefore decided to focus all eyes on an amazing backyard, a certain show stopper of this design.
This outdoor living area has a relaxing, resort-style look and feel complete with a spectacular swimming pool, inviting you to kick back or dive in! A partial glass wall enclosing the pool offers a one-of-a-kind view of this luxe little amenity. Elegantly appointed outdoor entertaining and lounging areas are defined by luscious wood decks and cool furniture, and are open to the kitchen, living room and dining area, which also have a very lush, tropical feel.
The house itself, at 500m2, was designed for a young family with kids. When not gazing at the pool and yard, the floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlook a gorgeous plant wall that provides privacy while letting the outdoors in.
Beyond the views, the indoors also feature earthy elements like rich wood that further connect it to the earth without compromising its modern, sophisticated style. Stone walls and expansive glazing guide you through the house is a seemingly effortless but very deliberate way.
