What a great room – this living room/dining room combination is cozy and inviting. Created by Pitsou Kedem Architects of Tel Aviv, it has fantastic flow. Concrete floors and continuous windows emphasize the open layout. But the concrete never looks cold. It’s well offset by the low, comfortable couch and the knitted stool cushions. The door is located in the center of the never ending window wall and leads to the outdoor dining room. And you see those circles in the ceiling? They aren’t recessed lights, they’re skylights! In fact, it’s all one big skylight that runs the entire length of the house, separated by wooden slats. And how cleverly they have picked up the round window theme in the walls. Cozy, inviting and expansive, this is truly a house for today.
