This minimalist NYC loft possesses a design that is unusual and very creative – realized by architectural firm WORKac. This firm has a high regard for surrealism and pragmatism. Combine that with the creative lifestyle of the owners of the space and this is the result. It is a truly amazing and inspiring space; so make sure you check out all the pictures – you won’t believe your eyes. The original structure of the interior was initially considered confined and restrictive. The plan then was to create a flowing space, yet one that was divided into sections boasting different styles to accommodate different functions. To achieve this, many multifunctional features have been incorporated, such as the unique series of tables on the ground floor. They can be extended, elevated or lowered, double as storage and even joined together to hold large dinner parties. They can also be connected to form a catwalk when the owner (fashion designer by trade) wishes to display new collections. The dining room table also serves as a chandelier when it is raised to the ceiling. The design elements in this loft are so ingenious; we will let the images speak for themselves.
